The Black Student Union of Duquesne University was organized with the purpose of focusing on the campus's ethnic composition with the objective to bring about open communication and interaction among all Duquesne students who show an interest in ethnic awareness, and the same time work toward a stable cultural, political, emotional, and social environment for minorities throughout the campus and the community.
